Proper Identifications
List of approved identifications to take the NNAAP® Examination.
Identification Requirements
To take the NNAAP® examination, you must bring two (2) forms of current, unexpired, official, signature-bearing identification to the test site. One of the two must be a photo ID.
Required Identifications
Social Security Card (non-laminated)
- Must be issued by the U.S. government.
- Laminated cards will not be accepted.
One Photo ID from the List Below:
- Driver’s license
- Learner’s permit
- Military identification
- State- or federal-issued ID card
- U.S. or foreign passport
- Alien registration card
- Federal-issued Employment Authorization Document (EAD) photo ID
Note: Paper copies are accepted only for temporary licenses, permits, and identifications.
Additional Guidelines
- Photocopies of any identification will not be accepted.
- If presenting sponsor or dependent military ID, it must be accompanied by a valid Social Security card.
- The name on your identification must exactly match the name you used on your examination application — including suffixes, hyphens, or other punctuation.
Consequences of Not Having Proper ID
- You will not be allowed to test without proper ID.
- Your exam fee will not be refunded.
- This absence will count as one of your three allowed testing attempts, as you were not adequately prepared.
