Combo Testing Fees
You must pay for both the written (or oral) examination and the skills evaluation the first time you register. The written examination and skills evaluation are available in English. The oral examination is available in English and Spanish.

Fees must be paid at the time of registration using:
- Credit card
- Debit card
- Single-use (prepaid) card

Note: Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Employer Reimbursement Policy
Under federal law:
- If you are employed (or have been offered employment) by a Medicare- or Medicaid-funded nursing facility at the time you begin a nurse aide competency evaluation program, the facility must pay your exam fees.
- If you gain employment within 12 months of completing a competency evaluation program, the facility must reimburse your exam and training costs on a pro rata basis during your period of employment.
Recommendation: Keep all receipts and documentation to submit for reimbursement.
